“Kabali” Movie Review

Normally every actor generally opts for a festival release as that is the time when the celebratory mood is high and fans are ever willing to spend their time and money at the cinema theaters during the opening weekend.  There is more hype when it’s festival time!!!
However, one man prefers to differ, it becomes a festival whenever his film gets released.  The craze for Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali,’ is unprecedented in every sense.  Be it the special aircraft of AirAsia India, or BEST buses in Mumbai, or the SIM card packs of a telecom company, it is ‘Thalaivaa’ all over.  The kind of stardom Rajini enjoys is unmatched and even beyond one’s wildest imagination.
Rajini’s most-awaited movie ‘Kabali’ got released amidst much hype and hoopla. Let’s take a look at the movie.
This is the story of a do-gooder don Kabali; he tries to put his gangster past behind him but it catches up to him. The film is based on the real life and times of the Tamil gangster ‘Kabali’ who fought for the suppressed Tamils in Malaysia.
Superstar Rajini, has played the tough guy innumerable times.  Many fans would have their personal choices, but ‘Kabali,’ is a strong contender for Rajinikanth’s best performance ever.  It touched on all the regular Superstar ingredients: like the signature comedy sequences, the glitzy songs and the flashy fights.  It was raw and real and Rajini reveled in this role of a lifetime.
‘Kabali’ is more commercial, used the Superstar’s style and inimitable punch lines to deliver one fire cracker of a movie!
Verdict: It’s Rajini mania all the way and it’s almost certain that all the existing box-office records will be obliterated.
