Kabali Beats Bahubali

Now every film lover’s eye is on the one and only movie “Kabali.”  This much awaited cinema was released amidst much hype and hoopla. “Kabali” was released in 500 plus screens in the U.S in two different versions, Telugu and Tamil.  The Rajinikanth starrer got unanimously positive reviews and is ruling the collection centers.
“Kabali,” already surpassed the other blockbuster “Baahubali’s” collections in the U.S.A., premieres.  “Kabali” collected $ 1.5 million so far with U.S., premieres while “Bahubali” collected only $ 1.03 million with premieres.  This clearly shows how big a fan draw Rajinikanth is, with a film based on the life of a gangster named “Kabali.”
“Kabali” fan’s craze is also raising movie collections to a great achievement.  “Baahubali” remains one of the biggest hits at the global box office. The movie grossed over 600 crore worldwide collections at the box office and is the biggest hit in the Indian box office history.   “Kabali” has the potential to break that record of S.S. Rajamouli’s creation, “Bahubali.”
Though “Kabali” has surpassed “Baahubali’s” collections in the initial stages, it remains to be seen how the movie would fare in the long run. Interestingly, both “Kabali” and “Baahubali – The Beginning” are competing in China today.
On the whole, both “Kabali” and “Baahubali” are the proud products of Indian cinema which have taken the Indian film industry to the global level.
