He Is My Biggest Inspiration : Nagarjuna

‘King’ Nagarjuna has been the first one to do supporting roles in Tollywood. He said he was inspired by the Bollywood Superstar ‘Big B’, Amitabh Bachchan, who does supporting roles, even after having such an illustrious star status. Now Nag is fully busy with the promotions of his home production “Nirmala Convent,” and continuing the shooting of “Om Namo Venkatesaya.”
Nirmala Convent” is ready to hit the screens tomorrow. On this occasion he said, “I don’t mind playing supporting roles but the script should appeal. When I heard ”Nirmala Convent” script, I was confident that film would definitely click.”

Nag added that about his role in “Nirmala Convent,” “I play a vital role and I create lot of obstacles to hero Roshan, but encourage him to overcome them.” While the shoot was going Nag kept humming the ‘Kotha Kotha Basha’ song from the movie. One fine day music director Roshan Saluri approached Nagarjuna to sing the song, and finally it happens in the movie!

Om Namo Venkatesaya Overseas Rights Sold

The upcoming venture of Akkineni Nagarjuna, “Om Namo Venkatesaya,” is already creating waves in the industry with its star studded cast and interesting plot. We now hear that these waves have traveled across the seven seas to foreign lands too. According to our sources, the overseas distribution rights of this devotional flick have been sold for a whooping Rs. 6 crores! If that’s not making waves then we don’t know what is!
According to sources, a reputed company has bought the distribution rights of this K. Raghavendra Rao directed film that includes Tamil and Hindi distribution rights too.
Good to know that this movie will be dubbed in two other languages, because if the first look of the film are anything to go by, it sure seems to be another record breaking devotional documentary.
The movie is the life journey of the famous saint Hathi Ram Baba played by Nag. The demure Krishanamma will be portrayed by Anushka Shetty whereas the role of Lord Balaji is being played by the serial celeb of the North, Sourab Jain.

Anushka’s Role Revealed in “Om Namo Venkatesaya”

Anushka Shetty, gave some of the most memorable performances as Jejemma‘ in “Arundathi,” Devasena‘ in “Baahubaliand as the Empress of the Kakatiya dynasty in the historical drama “Rudhramadevi”, is all set for yet another memorable role inK. Raghavendra Rao‘s and Nagarjuna’s upcoming devotional biopic “Om Namo Venkatesaya,” featuring Nagarjuna as the ardent devotee ‘Baba Hathiramji.’

Nagarjuna and Anushka share a great rapport and the duo has delivered many super hits like “Super,” “Dhamarukam,” and “Ragada.” With the hit pair coming back together has raised high expectations. Ever since Anushka has been roped in to the project, there were several speculations about her role in the movie as would she play the love interest of Nagarjuna or play some other significant role.
Now, bringing all speculations to an end, Anushka‘s role has been revealed at last. As per sources, Anushka will be seen as ‘Krishnamma,’ a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara.

Get ready for Swamy’s Toli Darshanam

‘King’ Nagarjuna is gearing up to deliver another devotional flick, titled “Om Namo Venkatesaya” after two back to back hit films– “Soggade Chinni Nayana” and “Oopiri” this year. Anushka Shetty is playing a cameo role while Vimala Raman and Pragya Jaiswal are playing main roles.
Everyone get ready to see Lord Venkateshwara‘s first look for Swamy’s Toli Darshanam!!! Still,1 day to go. We are, one and all, eagerly waiting for it because the successful duo, Nagarjuna and Raghavendra Rao— are working together once again to repeat their magic. Recently released working stills and videos from the sets are stealing the limelight with a kind of frenzied devotion. A huge set has been erected replicating the Holy Tirumala Tirupathi Temple at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

After the success of devotional projects like “Annamaya“, “Sri Ramadasu” and “Shirdi Sai Baba” both Nagarjuna and director Raghavendra Rao are again teaming up for this devotional film “Om Namo Venkatesaya.” It is being produced by Mahesh Reddy and music is scored by M.M. Keeravani. This epic drama is based on the life of Hathiram Baba, who is a beloved devotee of Lord Venkateshwara.
Veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is known as a brisk worker who sticks to a timetable and works accordingly. The movie unit is busy wrapping up the film quickly with perfect shooting schedules as the movie makers are planning to release the film on the occasion of Pongal, 2017.

“Om Namo Venkatesaya” New Motion Poster

An all new motion poster for the upcoming film titled “Om Namo Venkatesaya,” starring Nagarjuna in the lead role, is out.  Pulling down the suspense, the filmmakers unveiled the video clip, which features the sets of the much-hyped drama.
The video is a promising one to watch and is a visual treat.  It depicts the Golden Doors opening revealing the god’s emblem first, leading up to the image of Lord Venkateshwara.  The background score of the motion poster is enchanting and absorbing.  It is apparent the art director Kiran Kumar Manne erected brilliant sets for this devotional epic.
Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, the regular shoot is underway at a brisk pace and the crew successfully completed filming of its first schedule.  Centered around the life of Hathiram Baba, who is an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateshwara, the movie is one of the most looked-for releases of the year.

First Look of “Om Namo Venkateshaya” To Be Soon!

The upcoming period film “Om Namo Venkatesaya” grabbed the attention of the T-Towners with its kind of shooting and new stills. StarringNagarjuna in the lead role, the movie is one of the most-anticipated dramas in the Telugu film industry.

According to a source, the movie makers are planning to release the first look poster, that features Nagarjuna, very soon. Already, K. Raghavendra Rao directed “Om Namo Venkatesaya” garnered enough attention from the audiences with the working stills and stunning sets and the all new official poster is expected to elevate the hype.
