The upcoming venture of Akkineni Nagarjuna, “Om Namo Venkatesaya,” is
already creating waves in the industry with its star studded cast and
interesting plot. We now hear that these waves have traveled across the
seven seas to foreign lands too. According to our sources, the overseas
distribution rights of this devotional flick have been sold for a whooping Rs. 6 crores! If that’s not making waves then we don’t know what is!
According to sources, a reputed company has bought the distribution
rights of this K. Raghavendra Rao directed film that includes Tamil and
Hindi distribution rights too.
Good to know that this movie will be dubbed in two other languages,
because if the first look of the film are anything to go by, it sure
seems to be another record breaking devotional documentary.
The movie is the life journey of the famous saint Hathi Ram Baba played by Nag. The demure Krishanamma will be portrayed by Anushka Shetty whereas the role of Lord Balaji is being played by the serial celeb of the North, Sourab Jain.
