While every film industry sees a steady stream of new talents, those who make it to the top are very less. From a minuscule role in “Pranam Khareedu” to the biggest star hero of the south cinema, Chiranjeevi’s success journey is no short of wonderment.
Marked his debut with “Pranam Khareedu” in 1978, Chiranjeevi has appeared in 149 movies till “Shankar Dada Zindabad” that got released in 2007. The movie has successfully completed 9 years as on today.
“Shankar Dada Zindabad” is the only sequel Chiranjeevi has ever acted.
“Shankar Dada Zindabad” is an official remake of Bollywood super hit film “Lage Raho Munnabhai.”
The movie is a sequel to his earlier super hit “Shankar Dada M.B.B.S.,” which is, in turn, the remake of Bollywood movie “Munnabhai M.B.B.S.,”
The movie had ‘Powerstar’ Pawan Kalyan in an extended cameo and all the actors from the ‘Mega’ family including Nagendra Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and Allu Arjun shared screen space in the movie.
It’s been 9 years exactly, Chiranjeevi was last seen in a full-fledged role and hopefully, the continues the magic run with his 150th “Kathilantodu,” (tentatively titled).
