“Janatha Garage” achieves rare feat

While Bollywood is inclining towards the Rs. 1000 crore mark, achieving a Rs. 100 crore mark remained an unattainable task for Tollywood, till “Baahubali” happened. Though many a star hero movies got released post “Baahubali,” only “Srimanthudu” was able to reach the magical Rs. 100 crore figure in its full run.
After over a year, one more Telugu movie has achieved the rare feat of entering into the elite 100 crore club and is on the verge of obliterating many existing records. Young Tiger N.T.R.,’s recent blockbuster “Janatha Garage” has taken the box office collections to new heights, after becoming the second fastest Telugu movie to collect the gross of 100 crores in just a week of its release.

With a phenomenal rise in the collections and already hitting the 100 crore mark within the ambit of a very short span, it seems almost certain for “Janatha Garage” to re-create the history in terms of collections.
