Ravi Teja goes for a Variety Title

Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja has always been the front runner in supporting the right talent and giving them a second chance.  The actor who believed in the potential of Harish Shankar gave another chance to him despite Harish, delivering a dud like ‘Shock.‘ Harish Shankar didn’t let the star down and scored a massive hit with ‘Mirapayakay‘.
Ravi Teja who spotted the sparkling talent in writers Gopichand Malineni and Bobby (K.S. Ravindra), introduced them as directors with ‘Don Seenu‘ and ‘Power‘ respectively.  With the super success of ‘Power‘, Bobby hit the bulls eye and got the rare chance to direct the Powerstar Pawan Kalyan‘s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh‘.
However, the film’s colossal disaster dwindled the budding director’s career with offers on the decline. Realizing the director’s potential Ravi Teja seems to have given him a second chance and the movie seems to be tentatively titled ‘Raa‘. The movie will be produced by Ram Talluri along with D.V.V. Danayya and regular shoot will commence soon.
Interestingly, there was a movie by title ‘Raa‘ with Upendra in the lead role way back in 2001. It remains to be seen if this ‘Raa’ has any similarities with Upendra‘s ‘Raa’ or if it is a fresh concept.
