After enjoying super stardom both in Tamil and Telugu, ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram has been going through the biggest lean patch of his career. It’s been 11 years since Vikram scored a massive hit. The last blockbuster of Vikram’s caliber is “Aparichitudu.” None of the movies which were released after “Aparichitudu” could repeat the same magic. The most anticipated movie “I” with the dream combo of Shankar and Vikram too was a big let down.
The actor is going all guns to prove his mettle as a box office king with the upcoming Tamil movie “Iru Mugan,” which is going to be released in Telugu as “Inkokkadu.”
“Inkokkadu” is directed by Anand Shankar of “Arima Namdi” fame. Vikram will be seen in a dual role for the first time in his career. He will be playing a secret agent and as a Transgender in this movie. The film is being produced on a lavish budget by Shibu Thameens, music scored by Harris Jayaraj while Nayanthara and Nithya Menen are the female leads.
As per the reports the producer of the Telugu version Neelam Krishna Reddy, says he will be conducting the movie’s audio launch on15th August at JRC Convection Center in Hyderabad on our Independence Day, in the presence of the big wigs from the Telugu film fraternity.
