Kabali Pre-Release Review

From a man of humble beginnings to the biggest celebrity on the Indian Silver screen, Rajinikanth has traversed many a rough and smooth terrain. His life history has been a painful rags-to-riches story. The actor’s transition from a Marathi-speaking Shivaji Rao Gaekwad who turned Bus Conductor Bangalore to the biggest Superstar of Indian Cinema with an unmatched and undiminished popularity is nothing short of wonderment.
With just a day away for Rajinikanth’s most-anticipated movie “Kabali’s” release, the celebrations are sky-high and all fans and audience are eagerly waiting to watch the movie.
The much-awaited movie which features the South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth in the titular role has Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kalairasan, Johny Vijay and Rithvika in important roles. Directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Kalai S Puli Thanu, the music is composed by Santosh Narayanan.
As the movie is just a day away from the release and after the teaser taking the entire nation by the storm, everyone is excited to know what “Kabali” has stored in it.
Kabali story seems to have it’s run in the pre-independence era in Malaysian backdrop.
Kabali is born to an Indian Tamil family migrated to Malaysia and fights for the suppressed Indian workers there and eventually grows as their leader.
During the British rule, Indians were sent to Malaysia as workers and were treated like bonded labors. Rajini fights for the suppressed and their rights, as a result, he gets imprisoned for 25 years and the story after his return and how “Kabali” becomes the Don forms the rest of the story.
While Rajinikanth will be seen as an aging don in the film, the 20 minutes of the flashback episode shows the younger version of Rajinikanth.
