For the second time in his career, Ram Charan is gearing up for a remake. The upcoming movie “Dhruva,” is an official remake of the Tamil super hit cop thriller “Thani Oruvan.” Directed by the stylish director Surender Reddy of “Kick” and “Race Gurram” fame, the movie’s regular shooting is going on at a brisk pace and the pre-release business has already begun.
As per the reliable sources, there was strong bidding for the movie’s overseas rights and– finally, the rights have been bagged by ‘Classic Cinemas.’
The stylish action thriller features Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead and the movie marks the return of yesteryear heartthrob Arvind Swamy in the role of a powerful antagonist. The movie’s shooting is in the final stages of completion and the makers are planning to release the movie on 7th October, 2016.
